UniPorter

In 1993, Unipower built its first car carrier combination, and has since developed a large range of trailers and equipment for the car ferry industry. All car transporter equipment is sold under the UniPorter brand, including rollback recovery vehicles. UniPorter enjoys a large market share, with product models such as the FlexiPorter, MaxiPorter and MacroPorter constituting the bulk of many of the local carrier fleets.

Product Range

SEMI TRAILERS

SHUTTLEPORTER is a single axle trailer with a capacity of 4 to 6 vehicles. It offers 100% door access to loaded vehicles and is ideal for short hauls.

FLEXIPORTER is a tandem axle trailer with a capacity of 4 to 7 vehicles. It is suited for SUV and LCV transport over short or long haul.

METROPORTER is a tandem axle trailer with a capacity of 6 to 8 vehicles. It is suited for SUV and LCV or mixed vehicles transport over short or long haul.

LONG HAUL COMBINATIONS

MAXIPORTER is a 6x2 freighter SWB chassis with 3 car superstructure pulling a tridem axle trailer with a total capacity of 7 to 10 vehicles depending on Road Traffic Legislation. It is suited for long haul transport of MPV, SUV or mixed vehicles.

MACROPORTER is a 6x2 freighter LWB chassis with a 5 car superstructure pulling a tandem axle trailer with a total capacity of 7 to 11 vehicles depending on Road Traffic Legislation. It is suited for long haul transport of MPV, SUV or mixed vehicles.

EXPORTER is a 4x2 truck tractor pulling a single-tandem axle trailer combination with a total capacity of 7 to 8 vehicles. It is suited for long haul transport of MPV, SUV, LCV or a mixed vehicle load.
